Email

You're welcome to email me — but at a minimum, ensure your messages are signed. This helps establish authenticity and trust. For sensitive content, encrypt your message using my public key (see the section below).

All legitimate messages from me are cryptographically signed with my GPG key. If you receive a message claiming to be from me that is unsigned or has an invalid signature, treat it as untrusted.

Please do not send sales or promotional messages — these will be ignored. For all other enquiries, I aim to respond within a couple of working days.

IRC

I am active on the Libera.chat IRC network under the alias ssb1. Please drop me a line on there, if you would like a quicker response than email.

GPG Keys

To fetch my key immediately, perform the following:-

  • curl -sL https://stephensbull.com/ssb.gpg | gpg --import
  • Fingerprint: 6E6B B668 A6B2 B5DB 8C7C 24E5 06DE 07C4 E402 3867

This method ensures you receive my key directly from my domain, avoiding reliance on public keyservers.

To be absolutely sure which key is mine, you should either verify the fingerprint directly with me over a trusted channel, or follow a chain of trusted signatures if you're using the web-of-trust model. If you see a key that appears to be signed by someone you trust but you're unsure about its legitimacy, always confirm directly with that person.
